Peshawar: Attacks on polio workers in continued in Pakistan as another woman health worker was shot in Peshawar city of the country’s northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw, sources said on Wednesday. | |
The sources said that the incident occurred inKhazana area of the city when unknown person riding on a motorcycle opened fire on the health worker. Deputy Director EPI Dr Jan Khan Afridi said that the injured woman had been shifted to nearby hospital and being treated.
