According to PML-N sources, the manifesto committee oninterprovincial harmony did not propose the creation of new provinces in the country, such as the Seraiki and Hazaraprovinces. The PML-N media office said that Nawazpresided over the fifth meeting of the party’s manifesto committee, during which over a dozen committees for various sectors submitted their final reports.
The PML-N chief discussed each and every point of the manifesto with participants of the meeting and will reveal it to the public by the end of the month. The committees on interprovincial relations and speedy justice also submitted their proposed demands in the meeting, which have been accommodated in the manifesto.
The interprovincial committee proposed ways on developing harmony among provinces, as well as between Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. The party further discussed what strategy it would introduce in the four provinces, Kashmir and G-B if it won the upcoming general elections across the country.
Nawaz has formed 13 committees for various sectors, who submitted recommendations to the main manifesto committee. The PML-N’s manifesto will focus on the economy, energy crisis, jobs and improving the law and order situation, particularly in Karachi and Multan.
