CNG will be closed across Sindh from Tuesday morning at 8:00am

KARACHI: Filling stations of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) will be closed across Sindh, including Karachi, from Tuesday morning at 8:00am.

The CNG station will be reopened after 48 hours on Thursday morning at 8am. According to a spokesman of Sui Southern Gas Company, the decision has been taken due to shortage of supply of gas from different gas fields and low gas pressure. Special vigilance teams will monitor the situation to ensure implementation of the decision and any gas filling station which violated the schedule would be closed for further 24 hours. Action will be taken against those who open the CNG stations, SSGC sources said.
