YDA's strike enters second day in Lahore

LAHORE: The strike announced by the Young Doctor Association's (YDA) entered its second day on Thursday and doctors continued to provide treatment to patients in medical camps set-up outside the hospitals.

The management of the main government hospitals did not allow the YDA’s strike to succeed on the first day and only two medical camps of the YDA were witnessed in the government hospitals. On the other hand, the Punjab government’s departmental action against striking doctors continues and suspension orders have been issued against three doctors till date.
